London to Dover!

Cycling off with the music blaring out with ' I want to ride my bicycle' was one of the proudest moments of my life. The commitment from so many people to try and tell the world what is REALLY happening out there. Everyone was waving us off and we were SO excited. The pedestrians on the first few miles didn't know what had hit them when they heard the music blaring and a load of cyclists chanting with one voice. Mohammad looked enchanted as he sped along holding his Palestinian flag.  So many friends and others unknown to us joined the ride to Greenwich and once there it was a great party atmosphere. The park was PACKED and the green PC shirts looked fantastic.

I don't remember much of the ride to Dartford. It was very hot I can remember that much. And yesterday the ride to Dover was long and wet. Leila and I waved the cyclists off at the ferry terminal. I wished that I was going all the way across Europe. Though definitely would need loads of training to get my legs up and over the Alps ! Such an amazing  bunch of people from different backgrounds all united in one theme - to spread their message across Europe. It's going to be really tough too. I so admire them all.  So GOOD LUCK to everyone. You'll all be in my heart for the next four weeks and I can't wait to meet up in Damascus for the last leg. Please please let us know how you all are.

Love and peace
